Graduated from Department of Chemical Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, in 1981

Obtained a M.S. of Engineering from Department of Environmental Chemistry and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Yokohama, in 1983.

Received a Ph. D (Engineering) in 1988 from Tokyo Institute of Technology for a thesis entitled: "Additive effects of Lewis bases on olefin polymerization with Ti-based catalysts".

Occupation:

1983-1993 Research Associate, Research Laboratory of Resources Utilization, Tokyo Institute of Technology.

1993-2004 Associate Professor in Polymer Chemistry, Research Laboratory of Resources Utilization, Tokyo Institute of Technology.

2004-present Professor in Polymer Chemistry Group, Department of Applied Chemistry, Graduate School of Engineering, Hiroshima University
